Cabo Photographers
The sentiment behind our style comes from a broad perspective of the world. Originally from Mexico and now documenting narratives around the world, we take our loves of design, food, art and each other — turning that powerful energy into an admiration for the moment and an ability to notice tender beauty and drama. Mountaintop scenes, lush gardens, really good parties, great humans. This one life is a curious one; MemoryBox is a tool to timelessly access your memories and play with the senses after the moments have passed.

Known for softening the mood in every room he walks into, Fred makes those around him feel comfortable with his warmth and well-timed jokes. He has an eye for candid interactions, powerfully documenting the true characters of others with his photographs.
FRED
Short for Melissa and with a background in graphic design, Mel is known for her focus and drive, seeing the beauty — both subtle and not, and then gently directing to naturally create a timeless look and feel. She has a modern touch with a knack for iconic images that are editorial by design, but easygoing in feeling.
MEL
The one who tells stories with a consistent light quality and breathtaking compositions, Bernardo also maintains a refreshing ambiance at home. He often has jazz or piano playing and many plants around. He takes inspiration from fashion and the colors of nature, applying 20 years of experience to his work in weddings. From Mexico City, but can pull off a Cuban accent.

Interested in the nuances of travel, dancing, breath work and different cultures, adventure lives in Roksana. She is originally from Poland, but has the ability to find home everywhere she goes. Roksana has photographed weddings (and made space for the unique emotions and story of each couple) from Rome to Denmark and of course, the Mexican Riviera.
Associate Photographer
As a husband and wife team, photographing a wedding together is seamless, an artistic extension of home. The needs of the wedding couple come first, but we silently notice the creative needs in each other as the moments progress.
There is no “lead photographer,” but rather, a natural transition built on trust and subtle communication — knowing precisely when one should take the lead and provide guidance, or when the other needs a moment to pause and capture an intriguing detail. (More often than not, it’ll be Mel curating with editorial flair and Fred gently guiding with a laid-back style.)
At home, our dog, Mali, will move from place to place throughout the day to spend time with us both — Fred responding to emails in peaceful silence or listening to a podcast and Mel editing images with a desert-inspired playlist in the background. Also part of the routine are morning yoga, coffee outside and frequent trips to Cabo for weddings and rest.

Now, we’ve been together since 2009 — sharing the same interests, but with a different approach. Hearing the same joke, laughing at separate moments. Loving different ingredients in the same dish. Life itself has been our inspiration and photography is how we express all of this that we witness and feel.
Working together as a couple has been the best experience and provided powerful life lessons. We have been granted with your trust and our studio has grown — traveling among destinations in Mexico, the United States and Europe. We are still together and in love. It’s a real delight to apply this to the documentation of weddings — and yes, we appreciate different aspects and find different moments to pay attention to.
It was a hot summer day when we met.
Now, we have a skilled team that shares our vision. It has been the best gift to witness what stirs someone’s heart. The shimmer of love in their eyes when they look at each other. The warm smiles and looks between their best friends, tender smiles among grandparents traveling far to give their support.
We look back and notice how fond we’ve become of these images. They carry the wholeness of love.

Mexico
Grateful to live and work in paradise, often connecting with planners and couples to photograph destination weddings in Mexico (like this one).
Originally known for our artistic Tulum weddings, we now travel from coast to coast for a timeless take on personalized weddings filled with sophisticated, sensorial experiences.
Our home for four generations now.
Cabo
This place is hard to match for us with its ocean views, desert blooms and chic, yet casual feel. Cabo is good for the soul. The beachfront spas and cliffside retreats help too. (Our happy place.)
Los Cabos, where the senses are wined and dined with style and a one-of-a-kind glamor.
Tulum
Ah, Tulum, close to our home base and where we frequently experiment with the artistry of film. This is our haven of calm and oftentimes, an easy locale from which to travel for weddings in the Riviera Maya.

Cancun
Not the typical Cancun aesthetic you have in mind, but instead, the secluded luxuries of high-touch experiences that aren’t to be found just anywhere. Less of the usual nightlife, more of the iconic personalizations and concierge services.

With a rich Mayan and colonial heritage, Merida is a unique blend of historic character and cultural vibrancy. While it’s known for striking architecture and a peaceful vibe, you’ll find no shortage of lively hotspots with music, arts and flavorful cuisine.

With Mel’s sister in London and other excursions having taken us all over, we don’t mind the journey if it means there is a moment to remember (or many) and storied photographs to follow.
