A multicultural celebration at a high-end, artistic Playa Mujeres resort, this Chinese American fusion wedding played with notes of elegance, minimalism and tradition.
ASIAN AMERICAN WEDDING AT ATELIER
Welcomed with sand underfoot and palm trees overhead, the white party was the first hello. The wedding day began with guests again in white, but the bride donned in red for a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. This was a tender way to honor their elders and upbringing. From there, the couple changed their wardrobe into another classic look — think black bowtie for him and a sweetheart line for her. A seated dinner, dancing under the stars and cheerful toasts followed.
